The Fox Riverside Theater Foundation is the non-profit “sibling” of the Fox Performing Arts Center. Our mission is to support the Fox through education, outreach, and fundraising. Our members help us do that by supporting programs such as Students at Broadway, which brings hundreds of local students to Broadway shows and other live performances, and Seniors at Broadway, which works with local senior centers to bring older adults to the theater to experience the enrichment of live performances.

The Fox Performing Arts Center, because it is a municipal entity, belongs to everyone, but not everyone has the ability to buy tickets. The Foundation’s purchase of tickets helps bring those to the theater who might not otherwise be able to enjoy it, while boosting the overall audience development of the Performing Arts Center.

The Foundation receives in-kind support from The City of Riverside and some grant funding, but its primary source of program funding is its Encore Society. Members commit to an annual contribution that includes a number of membership benefits, including VIP receptions in the Tower Room prior to most performances at the Fox Performing Arts Center. For many members, the most important benefit of membership is the knowledge that they are making an investment in promoting one of Riverside’s most valuable treasures and providing performing arts experiences for students and others -- experiences that will ignite the spark of creativity and a love for the arts that has long-term impact for the overall well-being of this community and its residents.

In addition to the Encore Society, there are other giving opportunities, as well as opportunities to volunteer for the Foundation during donor events and outreach events. Please visit the “Become a Member” page on this site, call (951) 826-5769 or email to learn how you can make a difference for hundreds of local students and other regional residents.
